Our cooking is principally based on the numerous and tasty raw materials offered by the territory of Trentino.
We like to prepare and serve traditional mountain recipes, and also to reinvent them with a spirit of renewal and careful attention towards modern, health-conscious cooking techniques. So you may be tempted by roe-buck in salmì with polenta or the celebrated barley soup, or by ravioloni of juniper-scented venison, or of porcini mushrooms, by home-made pappardelle with game sauce or by pork jowl stewed in Teroldego.
And then … we like to tempt our guests with “sweet things”…. Our simple but always popular wild fruit tarts, or warm strudel, or Sacher cake with cream…
And for those who cannot join us for lunch or dinner, we always have ready some delicious snacks with a selection of our sliced hams and cheese from our malghe (mountain huts), with home-made bread and a nice glass of Teroldego or Marzemino.
